Warning! - Cardas vs. Counterfeit Cable Conductors

The Cardas lay-up has twelve, 11 gauge, Golden Section Stranded conductors and Teflon© binding.The counterfeit cable has three small, 20 gauge conductors, paper wrap, and a piece of plain steel cable used as the positive lead and to give weight and stiffness. That failed, by the way, as one of the obvious differences between cables is weight. A 1.5 meter pair of Golden Reference speaker cables weigh 3.3 lbs and the counterfeits weigh significantly less.
